We left our October pumpkins out, partially as a decoration, but also to see whether there was any interest from the (non-human) neighbors.    Well, it took a while, but sure enough.    Take only food, leave only hoofprints.

Meet Bob


Assuming he meandered off for greener pastures, I went back for a nap.  It was 6am on a Saturday, and I felt entitled.  Meanwhile, I am told he returned and romped for an hour in his new found playground while I was dozing.  No one bothered to fetch me, and I am not happy at all about that.

But now it's OK, since he's been visiting daily.  Here is a sample:
