Bearable
Minding my own business, pulling a few brown trout out of a stream, when along comes an interloper! The cute little blonde high-stepped down to my stretch until we were about 25 yards apart, and then she became extremely interested in me. After a bit of a staredown, she decided to pick up the pace on the way out of the river valley. I fumbled a bit to extract the camera, but then got the heck out of there. Plenty of river to share with her mother, and perhaps a bit rude of me, but I didn't see the need to stick around to meet the whole family.

Post Angling Transportation
To reach the best fishing holes, one must travel long distances away from people. Since rivers always reside in the very lowest altitude of the canyon, usually it is a downhill trip to the water and a substantial effort to get back out. However, the upper Rio Cebolla offers the opposite -- a good workout to reach the distant waters, and a wonderful coast back to the truck.

Pre-summer Hummer
Typical mid-April morning in the mountains. This little fella is up for his daily jolt before going to work -- marking territory, securing a nest, scouting the competition, locating sources, etc.
